Valentine's Special

Hello Everyone,

I will be working on a very special Valentine's Day cake tomorrow and will be posting the pictures in just a couple days. This cake will have a special order date as it will take sometime and I would like to arrange for the proper amount of time for each cake ordered.

It's very exciting!!

The cake can be given to a loved one for Valentine's Day, sent to school for either the teacher or the class to enjoy together, a friend, family dinner or a special treat for the whole family to enjoy.

The cake will be available in any cake flavour and your choice of icing flavour.

Well I better get working on it and stop typing about it. I can't wait to share it with you!

Pea in a Pod

Proud Mama to be Taylor is expecting her first baby and I had the honour of making her baby shower favours. I took the image from her baby shower invitations and piped it onto a sugar cookie. With my very special tool I can now offer this too anyone wanting images transferred and pipe the image on with royal icing.

Keeping with the theme I made both chocolate & vanilla cupcakes with a delicious butter cream icing topped with a fondant pea in a pod

Secretly I found out what the mother to be was going to be wearing and made the figure on her cake to look like her and to be dressed the same as her. You'll also see the figure is also wearing black heels. The theme followed through onto the cake with matching colours.

Happy 9th Birthday Jenna & Julianna

Two very special young ladies just turned 9 and I had the honour of making their birthday cupcakes. Like all women these two little ladies knew exactly what they wanted. Chocolate cupcakes with a vanilla bean butter cream icing and chocolate butter cream icing. Jenna had blue cupcake liners with white polka dots and Julianna had purple cupcake liners with white polka dots. Each of them had a personalized cupcake topped with sprinkles to match the liner and their name spelt out in chocolate. Each friend had a cupcake topped with the #9

I am happy to announce that Not Your Average Cookie can now

offer ANY, yes I mean ANY design on cookies, cakes and even cupcake toppers.

For Christmas my loving husband purchased a gift for me which I have had on my wish list for

sometime now. This special tool now allows me to HAND pipe any design.

This is very exciting news because if you as a customer have a special graphic design/picture I am now able to pipe this onto any edible item you wish it to be on.

I of course will be practicing as much as possible between orders and will constantly be updating my blog to give you ideas.
